Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters play surf guitar instrumentals, drawing inspiration from classic axe slingers like Dick Dale and Link Wray as well as spy, science fiction and spaghetti western movies, often in the same tunes.

The band is fronted by guitarist Matt Heaton, best known for his traditional Irish playing, but sporting a background of rock, classical & tango among other things. Joining him are drummer Paddy League from La Tuza, one of Boston’s most versatile musicians (though he sticks to drum kit with the Heaters, he is equally at home on Greek bouzouki, Irish bodhran & Mexican violin) and bassist Laura Cortese, best known for her “drum & chop indie pop.”
